We met through work in 2017 and quickly became close friends, sharing a passion for fashion and design. When forming the idea of creating a jewellery company, we first wanted to make sure that the ethos of good service and quality underpinned the brand we were about to create. We received our first product samples in 2020 and the wheels were set in motion for our dream of an authentic men’s jewellery bringing traditional style and strength.

The name Mined London, speaks both of the city that was the home of the inception of the designs, but also their quality craftsmanship as pieces cast from pure metals mined straight from the earth.

Mined London speaks to the history of urban men’s fashion and our designs are embedded in the traditional tattooing world. Ross has a passion for the art of tattooing and it’s seemingly unrivalled longevity, and his designs for our signature pendants are embedded in the history of traditional ink.

Above all, we wanted to create jewellery that was authentically made and high-quality, while still being affordable and beautifully designed. We wanted to take iconic pieces, like the Cuban chain, and create wearable pieces that made a statement suitable for the modern man to wear everyday. Jewellery was historically a symbol of power and status for men so, from minimal sleek designs for work to statement pieces for the weekends, we wanted our designs to embody strength and a bold attitude.

We’ve got an exciting future ahead, our next collections are in the works; with Ross working alongside well-known tattooists and designers around the country on our next pieces. The Mined London team is working hard to keep bringing handcrafted designs with a wealth of history to the shop.
